Fun with Gelli Plate Printing - Sunday 29th March - A creative workshop for all abilities - Tap for for information

£70.00

Come and join artists Rachael Johnson and Sam Waters for a fun, relaxed, and inspiring day of creative play. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the art of mono printing using a Gelli Plate to create beautifully layered printed papers.

In the morning, you’ll explore a range of techniques to build texture, pattern, and depth in your prints. In the afternoon, you’ll select your favourite papers and transform them into collage, creating a set of unique handmade cards to take home.

No previous experience is needed — this workshop is suitable for beginners and those looking to expand their skills.

You’ll leave with:

  • A set of original greeting cards made by you

  • New skills in Gelli Plate printing and collage

  • A warm glow from creative play and shared making

What’s included:

  • Introduction to Gelli Plate printing techniques

  • Layering & composition — learn how to build up your prints

  • Exploring new textures & materials — experiment with tools, stencils, and stamps

  • Printing on a variety of papers, tissues, and unexpected surfaces

  • Editing and refining your prints — gain confidence in creative decision-making

  • Hands-on guidance throughout the day

  • All materials provided

Please bring a packed lunch. We’ll provide tea, coffee, and cake (let us know in advance if you have any dietary requirements or intolerances).

We will be using acrylic paints so we suggest bringing an apron to wear to protect your clothing.
